ABSTRACT
 
To anticipate the possibility of collapse between adjacent tall
buildings, a dilation system can be implemented. Dilatation is the physical
separation of buildings so that each building can deflect independently
when an earthquake occurs.
To compare the internal forces that arise in irregular buildings, this
research is examined in buildings with an I/Linear shape, namely the NonSurgical
Care
Building
at
RSUD
Dr.
H.
Abdul
Moeloek,
which
is
a
4-story

building

in linear form and is planned to have a 4-story structure, but
finishing work is being carried out in stages.
The aim of this thesis is to calculate the effect of dilated columns on
structural performance using the SRPMK method and analyze the use of
dilated columns on differences in structural building functions.
The results of the calculations and conclusions are that the forces
acting on the structure are found to be moments, shear forces and axial
forces acting on the forces in the structure do not have too significant
differences. Based on the analysis in the SAP2000 V.14 program, it is
found that the area/ratio of reinforcement is safe to use for structures.
