ABSTRACT To anticipate the possibility of collapse between adjacent tallbuildings, a dilation system can be implemented. Dilatation is the physicalseparation of buildings so that each building can deflect independentlywhen an earthquake occurs. To compare the internal forces that arise in irregular buildings, thisresearch is examined in buildings with an I/Linear shape, namely the NonSurgicalCareBuildingatRSUDDr.H.AbdulMoeloek,whichisa4-story

in linear form and is planned to have a 4-story structure, butfinishing work is being carried out in stages. The aim of this thesis is to calculate the effect of dilated columns onstructural performance using the SRPMK method and analyze the use ofdilated columns on differences in structural building functions. The results of the calculations and conclusions are that the forcesacting on the structure are found to be moments, shear forces and axialforces acting on the forces in the structure do not have too significantdifferences. Based on the analysis in the SAP2000 V.14 program, it isfound that the area/ratio of reinforcement is safe to use for structures.dilatation. Key words: Building structure, structural column, dilation system, SRPMK.
