The object of research is Plaza Foto which has a business in the sale of cameras and photographic equipment located on Jl. R.A. Kartini No. 158 C / D Bandar Lampung. The problem faced is that the employee's poor performance can be seen from the decline in sales levels and hindering the company's activities to provide maximum service to consumers. Work motivation is not yet fully given to all employees so that each employee is able to carry out the tasks assigned with full responsibility.

The purpose of this  study was  to  determine whether work  motivation affects employee performance at Photo Plaza in Bandar Lampung. The research hypothesis   proposed   is:   "Work   motivation   has   an   effect   on   Employee Performance at Bandar Photo Plaza Lampung." This research was classified into field research (field research, primary data) obtained from questionnaires and interviews  while  secondary  data  was  obtained  through  documentation.  The method used in this study is a quantitative method that uses a technical population of all 32 employees.

The results of this study indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, where managers as leaders have a role to motivate. This is evidenced based on the results of calculations in simple linear regression showing that the t-count on the work motivation variable is (7,511)> 2,042. Indicates that tcount> ttable so that it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted with the meaning that work motivation significantly influences employee performance. And the coefficient of determination of 0.653 which means the effect of work motivation on employee performance by only

65.3% while the remaining 34.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
